FAQ

Q?

How can I book a wedding?

A.

You are excited about our possibilities and can't wait to book your unforgetable wedding?

Here is what you can do:

  1. Contact us! And tell us what your expectations are. What location, what wedding date, packages and services are you interested in?  You can either contact us via the "request a quote" form or just write us an email with all your details. The more you tell us, the better we can respond to your wishes.
  2. We will send you an estimate, that you have an idea, what the costs of your dream wedding will be.
  3. If you are happy with the estimate and agreed with it, we will send you a service contract.
  4. As soon as you have signed the service contract, you will have to make a deposit. After that, the date will be reserved for you.
  5. We are happy to arrange everything for your dreamwedding on your desired date and location, and you can be looking forward for your wedding in the Wild West.

Q?

Do you also offer your services at other locations?

A.

Yes, we offer our services also at other locations of your choice. Maybe you prefer to marry at a beautiful hotel or at home or have an own favorite outdoor spot, that we didn't mention so far. Don't hesitate to tell us about your favorite place, and we are happy to offer our services there.

Q?

What are your package prices?

A.

You will find all our packages and prices here.

Typical costs/Preview:

In the Tucson area you can estimate with the "starting from rates"*  *Permit fees of locations not included.

For destination weddings (e.g. Grand canyon, Horseshoe Bend etc.) our prices are higher because of our travel expenses. Please make a request to get an actual and customized quote. The more details you share the better we can respond with a quote right away.

Price Transparency: How do we calculate our travel expenses? We are based out of San Manuel (Southern Arizona) we currently calculate with $0.75per mile (both ways). e.g if a location is 400 miles away from us (one way) we will charge $600 plus accommodation fees for up to 2 nights and compensation for our travel time. For Tucson up to Phoenix area we might only charge the mileage (no hotel etc.) depending on the end time of our services.

Disclaimer: All prices are subject to change, please inquire to get an actual quote. Also if gas prices continue to change significantly we might have to raise our travel costs as well.

Q?

Will the marriage be official?

A.

Yes, we are ordained ministers and perform your wedding ceremony as certified officiants. You would have to solve a marriage license on the Justice Court before the ceremony, after the ceremony the marriage license will be completed and returned to the Justice Court for registration by us. After that you are legally married in the U.S. If you need your marriage to be recognized in a foreign country, we also can assist you with that. You would need a second document a so called Apostille to be sent to your homecountry registry office, sometimes a certified translation is also required. Read more at our Paperwork Service.

Q?

Do you also offer Vow renewal ceremonies?

A.

Yes, we certainly also offer vow renewal ceremonies for couples that are already married. This is a beautiful occasion and we would be happy to hold your vow renewal ceremony in the majestic landscape of the Wild West.

We love the idea of renewing wedding vows. We think the vows could be enriched with all the new memories and experiences, that the couple shared in their married years.

It is very romantic to promise each other again to go through good and bad times, after all the past years they went through. It is also a good opportunity to have a different wedding and to dare something special, that some couples wouldn’t do for their official wedding day with all the family and guests of a classic big wedding near home. Why not having a destination wedding for your vow renewal in the majestic landscape of the Southwest. Or combine your honeymoon with an intimate "vow renewal destination wedding" after your big wedding at home.

Q?

How private is a wedding at these popular locations?

A.

Please be aware that if you choose a touristic hotspot like Horseshoe bend, you won't be all alone. Unfortunately, it is not possible to exclude other tourists from visiting the public locations during your wedding, even with a special permit for the ceremony. But we always find a beautiful spot to hold the ceremony without other people in the way. And as soon as the tourists see a bridal couple they won't stand in their way or interrupt the ceremony. They leave enough space to feel comfortable. But if you like it more private, we know other locations that are less known but very beautiful. We already had a couple that married at White Pocket and they loved it, it was a very intimate wedding. Other less crowded locations for very intimate wedding ceremonies are e.g. Peek-a-boo Slot Canyon, Toadstool Hoodoos, Paria Townsite e.t.c.

Have a look at our locations.

Q?

How early in advance should I book my wedding?

A.

As early as possible!

This depends on the location.

e.g. The Grand Canyon should be booked as early as possible, there is only one wedding a day on a viewpoint allowed. The National Park Service needs at least four weeks for the process of the permit. The desired viewpoint can be booked up to one year in advance.

Q?

What do I need to bring for the marriage license?

A.

  • A valid government-issued Photo I.D. (e.g. Passport)
  • Social security number, if you have one
  • Divorce Decree or Decree of Annulment (if one applicant was married, only Utah)
  • Cash to pay the fee (if you solve the marriage license by yourself)

Q?

We’d like to do our marriage license here in our State before we leave, is this possible?

A.

It is necessary to solve the marriage license from the State where the wedding takes place. So unfortunately, you cannot bring a marriage license from a different state.
If it is not possible for you to go to a Justice Court in Arizona or Utah before the wedding have a look at the following question:

Q?

We are from out of state and only have time on weekends, can we still legally marry in the United States / Arizona / Utah?

A.

You must solve the marriage license at the Justice Court in the state of the wedding location. Read more here: Paperwork.

This is only possible during the week. Even though the official ceremony can certainly also take place on the weekend with us. Should it not be possible for you to go to Justice Court before the ceremony during the week, you would have the following alternative:
How about completing the legal valid marriage at a Justice Court in your home state or home country and enjoy an informal wedding ceremony with us in a wonderful landscape without having to worry about the formalities?

If you get married in Arizona there is one more option. There is a county in Arizona that issues marriage licenses by mail. But you would have to be early (at least 6 weeks), due the longer processing times and would alternatively have to visit a notary of the public (in any U.S. State) to validate your signature during the application process. If you consider this option, ask us and we are happy to give you detailed information about that.
